The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Betty Rodriguez
Betty Jean Rodriguez, 72, Celina, died June 17, 2010, at Coldwater Community Hospital in Coldwater.
She was born Sept. 15, 1937, in Fonde, Ky., to William Riley and Marie Panzalee Barley Henderson. On Sept. 4, 1956, she married Henry S. Rodriguez, who died March 21, 2003.
Surviving are three sons, John (Diane) Rodriguez, Celina, David (Cheryl) Rodriguez, Bluffton, and Tony (Christine) Rodriguez, St. Marys; two daughters, Vickey (Larry) Miller, Celina, and Tammy (Rocco) Farello, El Segundo, Calif.; two brothers, David (Connie) Henderson, and Steven (Sherrie) Henderson, all of Celina; six sisters, Wilma Abels, Rockford, Patsy McJunkin, Botkins, Diana Gerber, Sidney, and Mary (Robert) Perry, Patricia (Barry) Baucher and Sheila (Steve) Humbert, all of Celina; 11 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Deceased is a son, Tommy Allen Rodriguez; a daughter, Nancy Ann Rodriguez, and two sisters, Gracie Parker and Winnie Caldwell.
She was a homemaker and worked at Mersman Tables in Celina and New Idea in Coldwater. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina. She was also a former Girl Scout leader and volunteer at Gibbons Hospital in Celina.
Funeral services are 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Richard Riedel officiating. Burial is at St. Marys Catholic Cemetery in Celina.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Friday at W. H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina.
