The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Marilyn Niemeyer
Marilyn Rose Peak Niemeyer, 84, Celina, died at 8:20 a.m. Dec. 1, 2010, at Celina Manor Nursing Home in Celina.
She was born Sept. 20, 1926, in Celina. Her parents, Russell Peak and Etta Smith Peak-Yahn, and a stepfather, John Yahn, are all deceased. On Feb. 16, 1946, she married Paul W. Niemeyer, who died June 29, 1994.
Surviving are two sons, Kevin (Judy) Niemeyer, Celina, and David (Jan) Niemeyer, Troy; two stepdaughters, Annie (Russ) Siler, West Milton, and Jody (George) Muether, Celina; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter.
Deceased is a brother, Ferd Peak; two sisters, Patty Peak and Virginia L. Curry; stepbrother, Richard Yahn; and a stepsister, Joan Ellis.
She was a graduate of Celina High School in 1945. She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Celina.
Funeral services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, the Rev. Jeff Conrad officiating. Burial will follow in North Grove Cemetery in Celina.
