The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Dolores Frilling
Former McCartyville resident Dolores A. Frilling, 88, Lake Jackson, Texas, died Dec. 18, 2010.
She was born March 24, 1922, in McCartyville to Bernard O. and Frances Drees Grilliot. On Sept. 4, 1943, she married Charles "Chuck" Frilling, who died in 2001.
Surviving are three daughters, Mary Jo (Daniel) Schmiesing, Carthagena; Judy (H. Wayne) Fortenberry, Lake Jackson, Texas, and Theresa (Dennis Buschgans) Frilling, St. Augustine, Fla.; eight siblings, Sister Irene Grilliot, Cincinnati, Naomi (Walter) Schroeder, Sidney, Ruth Gehrlich, Orlando, Fla., Thelma Kaup, Cincinnati, JoAnn Grilliot, Columbus, Marlene (Joe) Schwartz, Hamilton, Thomas Grilliot, McCartyville, and Gerald (Doris) Grilliot, Stockton, Calif.; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Also deceased is a brother, Bernard Grilliot.
She attended Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in McCartyville and was a member of their Ladies Sodality. She also was a member and past treasurer of the McCartyville Senior Citizens Card Club and the Sidney Veterans of Foreign Wars. She was a 1940 graduate of Anna High School, a homemaker and had worked as a nurse's aide at Dorothy Love for seven years.
Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. John W. Tonkin officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Gehret Funeral Home in Fort Loramie, and 9-10 a.m. Thursday at the church.
Memorials may be made to Anna and Kettlersville fire departments or a charity of the donor's choice.
