The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Doris Tinnerman
Doris L. Tinnerman, 87, New Knoxville, died at 1:25 p.m. March 23, 2011, at the St. Marys Living Center.
She was born Nov. 29, 1923, in Spencerville, to Walter and Mary Counts Lauth. On Sept. 23, 1943, she married Karl Tinnerman, who died in 1999.
Surviving are a daughter, Carolyn Sue (Jerry) Lehman, Wapakoneta; a daughter-in-law, Donna Tinnerman, New Knoxville; three brothers, Harold Lauth, New Knoxville, Jim (Marilyn) Lauth, St. Marys, and Ronald Lauth, Sebring, Fla.; a sister, Emma (David) Severt, Wapakoneta; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.
Also deceased is a son, Larry Tinnerman; a grandchild; and six siblings, Leona McPheron, Anna Axe, William Lauth, Betty McClintock, Robert Lauth and Jean Ann Lauth.
She worked at Joint Township Hospital in St. Marys as a nurses' aide. She was a homemaker and attended St. Marys Church of God.
Funeral rites are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Miller Funeral Home in St. Marys, the Rev. Charles Richtmyer officiating. Burial is at Resthaven Memory Gardens in St. Marys.
Calling is 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
