The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

William Cron
Dr. William James "Bill" Cron, 82, Bloomington, Ind., died March 24, 2011.
He was born Feb. 9, 1929, in Celina to Carl and Edna Cron. He married Patricia Smalley in 1951, and she survives.
Also surviving are his children, Dr. Christopher C. (Rita) Cron, Louisville, Ky., Catherine C. (Greg) Hines, Georgetown, Ind., and Andrew D. (Tina) Cron, Bloomington; and eight grandchildren.
Deceased is a brother, Jack.
He graduated in 1947 from Celina High School and in 1951 from Indiana University. In 1955, he graduated from medical school at The Ohio State University and interned at Mount Carmel Hospital in 1956. He then joined the United States Air Force, stationed in Laredo, Texas.
He entered a three-year dermatology residency at Indiana University Medical School and opened his practice in Bloomington. He was chief of staff at Bloomington Hospital, past president of the Monroe County Medical Society and recently received the Hackney-Norins Award for exemplary contributions to patient care, community welfare, dermatologic education and the specialty of dermatology.
Service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Mark's United Methodist Church, Bloomington.
Contributions may be made to the church or the Bloomington Hospital Foundation.
Arrangements are being handled by Allen Funeral Home and Crematory, Bloomington, Ind.
