The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

David Miller
David Brent Miller, 50, of Portland, Ind., died March 27, 2011, in an aviation accident in Kentucky.
He was born April 26, 1960, in Portland, to Norman Miller and Barbara Franks. His father and stepmother, Alice Miller, survive in Portland; his mother survives in Mason. On Sept. 2, 1989, he married Michelle Pierzchala, who survives.
Also surviving is a son, Sam Miller; two daughters, Aly Miller and Eme Miller; and three brothers, Barry (Mary Anne) Miller, Portland, Greg (Shirley) Miller, Portland, and Todd (Lori) Miller, Portland.
He was the owner of Miller Aviation, which he founded in 1989, and a lifelong farmer. He attended Westchester United Methodist Church and was a member of Portland Rotary Club, Gideons and Emmaus. He was a 1978 graduate of Jay County High School and a Purdue Ag short-course graduate.
Services are 10 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Darrell Borders officiating. Burial is at Westchester Cemetery.
Calling is 1-5 p.m. Sunday at Baird-Freeman Funeral Home, Portland, and 9 a.m. Monday at the church.
