The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Myrtle Mae Lietz
Myrtle Mae Lietz, 92, St. Marys, died at 11:25 p.m. Sept. 7, 2011, at St. Marys Living Center.
She was born May 6, 1919, in Clay Township, Auglaize County, to Osborn and Nancy Brackney Dudgeon. On Dec. 16, 1939, she married Ned Lietz, who died July 21, 1999.
Surviving are children, James (Carol) Lietz, Dickson, Tenn., Fay (James) Hirt, Holland, Mich., and Donna (Dean) Kentner, Wapakoneta; a sister-in-law, Cameo Dudgeon, Wapakoneta; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two sisters, Ethel Lamson and Opal Kaeck; three brothers, Leslie Dudgeon, Leonard Dudgeon and Wilbur Dudgeon; a granddaughter; and a grandson.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, St. Marys, and its Women's Guild. She was a member of St. Marys Senior Citizens.
Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, the Rev. Ed Bray officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
Calling is 9:30 a.m. until time of services Saturday at the funeral home,.
Memorial donations may be given to Grand Lake Hospice.
