The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Betty DeAnthony
Betty L. DeAnthony, 86, Celina, died Jan. 3, 2012, at Briarwood Village, Coldwater.
She was born Nov. 19, 1925, in Dayton, to Elwood W. and Rose M. Volmer Reese. On May 29, 1946, she married Robert J. DeAnthony, who died Nov. 10, 2007.
Surviving are three children, Joyce (Carl) Johnson, Celina, David (Diana) DeAnthony, Piffard, N.Y., Tom DeAnthony, Rochester, N.Y.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Deceased is one grandchild.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater. She was a volunteer at Community Hospital, Coldwater, State of the Heart Hospice and Mercer County Senior Citizens.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Richard Walling officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Dayton.
Memorials may be made to State of the Heart Hospice.
