The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Howard Harner
Howard R. Harner, 90, Celina, died Feb. 3, 2012, at The Gardens at Celina.
He was born May 16, 1921, in Mercer County, to Clem and Laura (Donovan) Harner. On Dec. 16, 1949, he married Audrey Davis, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Duane (Sue) Harner, Celina; a daughter, Wanda Harner, Florida; a brother-in-law, James Shauver, Coldwater; a sister-in-law, Winifred Johnson, Van Wert; one grandchild; two step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Alberta Louise Harner; a brother- and sister-in-law, Orval and Helen Harner; and a sister and brother-in-law, Gladys Kuhn Shauver and George Kuhn.
He raised hogs and cows in Hopewell Township. He retired from Tractors, Inc., Celina. He also had worked at the Farm Supply Co. in Celina, the State Highway Garage and was a truck driver hauling gas and milk.
He had attended the Clutter School, west of Celina, and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving in Hawaii and the Phillippines. He was a member of Mt. Tabor Church of God, American Legion Post 210 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5713, all of Celina.
Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Revs. Richard VanHorn and James Keiser officiating. Burial will be in North Grove Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home, Celina, and one hour prior to services Wednesday at the church.
Memorials may be directed to a charity of the donor's choice.
