The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Dorothy Shock
Dorothy P. Shock, 92, Rockford, died at 7:12 p.m. Feb. 19, 2012, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, Ind.
She was born Dec. 10, 1919, near Pennville, Ind., to Walter C. and Virgie Champ Wright. On Dec. 29, 1945, she married Max C. Shock, who died Oct. 15, 2009.
Surviving are two siblings, Royce (Mary Ellen) Wright, Portland, Ind., and Velma Hunt, Caro, Mich.; and a brother-in-law, Gerald (Sondra) Dickson, Portland.
Deceased are two sisters, Maxine Kessler and Carolyn Sue Dickson.
She was a homemaker and lived most of her life in Rockford. She was a member of Rockford United Methodist Church and the Women's Association of the church.
Service is 11 a.m. Friday at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home, Rockford, the Rev. Chip Steffy officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Rockford.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to service Friday at the funeral home.
