The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Victor McKinney
Victor L. McKinney, 63, St. Marys, died at 10:15 a.m. March 5, 2012, at Golden Living Center-Valley.
He was born July 25, 1948, in Celina to Raymond and Gladys Coil McKinney, who are both deceased. On Oct. 3, 1993, he married Leslie Rone, who died Oct. 18, 2011.
Surviving are a sister, Janet (Jim) White III, St. Marys; two nieces; a nephew; five great-nieces; and two great-nephews.
Deceased is a sister, Joan McKinney.
He was a 1966 graduate of Memorial High School, St. Marys, and a member of Ross Church of the Brethern, near Mendon. He was employed in the maintenance shop services department at Crown Equipment Corp., New Bremen. He also had worked at the truck plaza in Wapakoneta for a number of years.
Service is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Keith Stoller officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens near Moulton.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at Miller-Long & Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys.
