The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Berniece Henning
Berniece I. Henning, 82, St. Marys, died at 5:26 a.m. March 7, 2012, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
She was born March 31, 1929, in Celina to Charles and Nellie McDonald Boice. On Feb. 28, 1948, she married Edwin R. Henning, who died Nov. 26, 2002.
Surviving are four children, Edwin D. (Jo Ann) Henning, Marion, Terry (Brenda) Henning, St. Marys, Janiece Henning, St. Marys, and Nan (Kevin) Luedeke, St. Marys; three siblings, Charles Boice, Texarkana, Ark., Lee Boice, Troy, and Karen Boice, Minster; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a daughter, Coleen Henning, and siblings, Jerry Boice, Delores Boice, Janelle Harden and Mary Ysassi.
She was a 1947 graduate of Celina High School and retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber, St. Marys, where she worked in production and supervision. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, American Legion Auxiliary, Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, Eagles Lodge and Joint Township District Memorial Hospital Guild, all of St. Marys.
Service is 1 p.m. Saturday at Miller Funeral Home-West Chapel, St. Marys, the Rev. Bill Maki officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to service Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to St. Marys Little League.
