The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Rose Seitz
Rose B. Seitz, 81, formerly of Montezuma, died June 6, 2012, at Briarwood Village, Coldwater.
She was born June 14, 1930, in Maria Stein to Henry and Agnes Fullenkamp Streacker. On June 7, 1950, she married Carl B. Seitz, who died Oct. 17, 1976.
Surviving are two sons, Anthony (Carol) Seitz, Montezuma, and Charles (Sue) Seitz, Coldwater; two sisters, Nettie Schlater, Sidney, and Mary Phlipot, New Bremen; two sisters-in-law, Salome Streacker, Englewood, and Irene Seitz, Coldwater; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two sisters, Bernadette Keller and Johanna Marbaugh, and a brother, Leo Streacker.
She retired from the former Briarwood Manor Nursing Home in Coldwater in 1997 and was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Montezuma.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Rick Friebel officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-7 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
