The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

James Brown
James Stanley Brown, 76, of Mundy Township, died June 17, 2012, at Hurley Medical Center, Flint, Mich.
He was born May 6, 1936, in Celina, to William S. and Gladys Brown. In 1957, he married Sandra J. Brown, who died Dec. 2, 2004.
Surviving are two sons, Kim S. (Teresa) Brown, and Kurt A. (Twila) Brown; a daughter, Kandice K. (Gordon) Andrews; four grandchildren; and a sister, Ginger Byes.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Brown.
He and his wife had owned and operated Handy Hardware (Fenton Lawn Hardware) for over 35 years. He worked at GM and was a member of the Berean Baptist Church.
Services are 11 a.m. June 21 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Flint, Pastor Eric Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at Tyrone Hills Memorial Gardens.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
