The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Linda August
Linda L. August, 67, Celina, died at 2:40 a.m. July 5, 2012, at The Gardens at Celina.
She was born Nov. 11, 1944, in Celina to Arthur and Ruth Alexander Jacobs. Her mother survives in Celina; her father is deceased. On Dec. 26, 1964, she married Terry August, who also survives in Celina.
Other survivors are two sons, Jeff (Pam) August, Celina, and Kerry (Jill) August, Celina; a daughter, Teri (Eric) Sams, Celina; two brothers, Robert Jacobs, Celina, and Tom (Sue) Jacobs, Celina; a sister, Patty (Bob) Bullock, Lima-Shawnee; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a brother, Arthur Jimmy Jacobs Jr.
She was a homemaker and 1963 graduate of Celina High School. She was a member of Celina American Legion Auxiliary.
No services are planned.
