The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Marilyn Fisher
Coldwater native Marilyn L. Fisher, 75, Piqua, died at 3:01 p.m. July 21, 2012, at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton.
She was born Nov. 3, 1936, in Coldwater to John and Loretta Huelskamp Gehle. Her first husband, Martin R. Mott, died in 1980. On June 13, 1992, she married Dale H. Fisher, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Janet Mott, Huber Heights, and Judy (Todd) Pelaston, Piqua; two stepdaughers, Debra (Rusty) Miller, Troy, and Sharon (Dean) Willson, West Milton; two sisters, Mary Artz, Huber Heights, and Helen Dues, St. Henry; two sisters-in-law, Virginia Mott, Columbus, and Rita Gehle, St. Henry; a brother-in-law, Tom Rose, St. Henry; and four grandchildren.
Deceased are three sons; two brothers, Richard and Wilbert Gehle; a sister, Alice Rose; and two grandsons.
A 1954 graduate of St. Henry High School, she worked as a clerk in the nutritional services department at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, Piqua, and a charter member of St. Clare Chapel.
Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Thomas L. Bolte officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery, Fort Recovery.
Calling is 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home, Piqua. A prayer service will be held there at 5 p.m. Tuesday.
