The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

David Paul
David Orrin Paul, 75, New Bremen, died Aug. 10, 2012, at Auglaize Acres, Wapakoneta.
He was born March 1, 1937, in New Bremen to Karl J. and Olga W. Clausing Paul. On Nov. 13, 1965, he married Joan L. Ramsey, who survives.
Other survivors are two children, Scott D. (Kristina "Tina") Paul, New Bremen, and Lori A. (Greg) Kremer, New Knoxville; a brother, Allen (Mary) Paul, New Bremen; sisters- and brothers-in-law, Carol Paul, New Bremen, Sharon Ramsey, Amboy, Ind., Mary (John) Holtzapple, St. Marys, and Walter (Sue) Ramsey, Mansfield; and four grandchildren.
Deceased is a brother, Kenneth Paul; and a brother-in-law, Ted Ramsey.
He was a 1955 graduate of New Bremen High School and served six years in the U.S. Army Reserves at the beginning of the Vietnam Era. He retired in 1999 as a truck driver for Thieman Stamping and previously had farmed and worked at Auglaize County Landmark. After retirement. he occasionally drove truck for Auglaize Industries. He was a member of St. Peter's Church, New Bremen.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Steve Wills officiating. Burial is at German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at Gehret Funeral Home, Fort Loramie, and 9:30-10:15 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
