The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Dorothy Wolf
Dorothy E. Wolf, 101, Minster, died at 12:10 a.m. Oct. 4, 2012, at Heritage Manor Nursing Center.
She was born May 16, 1911, in Fort Loramie, to Frank and Emma Ernst Boerger. On Feb. 3, 1937, she married Albert H. Wolf, who died Jan. 2, 1997.
She is survived by three daughters, Marlene (Otis) Garrett, Beavercreek, Elaine (Kenneth) Romer, Fort Recovery, and Victoria (Michael) Schwartz, Minster; a son, Thomas (Gina) Wolf, Palm Coast, Fla.; brothers and sisters, Herb Boerger, New Bremen, Ralph (Eileen) Boerger and Chris Thieman, Minster, Mary Francis, Russia, and Ruth Dabbelt, New Bremen; sisters-in-law, Virginia Boerger, Minster, and Irene Boerger, Fort Loramie; nine grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are her brothers and sisters, Alma Feldman, Leo Wolf, Alfred Wolf, Clarence Wolf, Juliana Wagner, Robert Wolf, Frank Wolf and Catherine Wolf.
She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, St. Monica's Ladies Sodality, Catholic Ladies of Columbia and the American Legion Auxiliary, all of Minster, and Fort Loramie Knights of St. John Auxiliary. She served as a chairperson for 12 years for the American Cancer Crusade. She and her husband owned and operated Wolf's Hotel for 40 years.
Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Augustine Catholic Church, the Rev. Rick Nieberding officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Tuesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster, and from 9-9:30 a.m. Wednesday.
