The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Margaret Snider
Margaret "Peg" Ellen Snider, 63, Mendon, died at 11:15 p.m. Oct. 15, 2012, at her home.
She was born April 6, 1949, in Celina to John Wiley and Winifred Skinner Maurer, who are deceased. On March 29, 1969, she married Dale E. Snider, who survives.
Also surviving are a brother, Robert (Rozann) Maurer, Mendon; a sister, Pam (Dave) Young, Celina; a father-in-law, Russell W. Snider Jr., Celina; a brother-in-law, Ron (Marlene) Snider, Celina; and two sisters-in-law, Peggy (Joe) Severt, Coldwater, and Kathy Snider, Celina.
Deceased are a brother, Jack Maurer, and a mother-in-law, Elsie Snider.
She graduated in 1967 from Parkway High School and received an associate of arts degree from Wright State University-Lake Campus before transferring to Indiana University, Fort Wayne, to receive her bachelor's degree. She was a substitute teacher at Parkway and volunteered for 23 years at State of the Heart Hospice. She also worked at the former Celina Barr Store and was a member of Mercer United Methodist Church.
Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Kenny Baker officiant. There are no calling hours.
Memorials may be given to Call Food Pantry, State of the Heart Hospice or the Cancer Association of Mercer County.
