The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Robert Prater
Robert Lee Prater, 80, formerly of St. Marys, died Dec. 18, 2012, at Holzer Senior Care Center, Gallipolis.
He was born Sept. 15, 1932, in Garrett, Ky., to Hager and Laura Ratliff Prater. He married Doris Elizabeth Farley, who survives.
Also surviving are his children, Robert Lee Jr. (Pam) Prater, St. Marys, and Deborah (Robert) Otting, Minster; a brother, Ruben (Juanita) Prater; a sister, Jackie Hicks; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, David Prater; a brother-in-law, Ballard Hicks; and two grandchildren.
He served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years, retiring in 1970. He then worked at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. as a quality control lab manager.
He was a 50-year member and past master of the Mercer F&AM Lodge 121 and a member of the Scottish Rite of Dayton, Shriner's Antioch Temple, Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels, Ohio Eastern Star and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Funeral services are 11 a.m. Saturday at McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton, the Rev. Chris Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Vinton Memorial Park.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to The Shriner's Hospital for Children, Lexington, Ky.
