The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Jesse Springer
Jesse Duane "J.D." Springer, 49, Celina, died March 4, 2013, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
He was born Nov. 21, 1963, in Polk County, Fla., to Norman Duane and Jessie Kendall Springer. On April 15, 2006, he married Lisa Browder, who survives.
Also surviving are two children, Justin Springer and Jennifer Springer, both of Coldwater; a stepdaughter, Amber (Ryan) Holycross of DeGraff; a brother, Mark (Regina) Springer of Marion; two granddaughters, Kandas and Kaylee Holycross; and an aunt, Janie Kahler of Mendon.
Deceased are his parents and a brother, Kevin Springer.
He attended Celina High School and worked at Wendy's Restaurant and Grand Lake Produce in Celina. He also was a self-employed plumber and carpenter. He enjoyed remodeling, tearing things apart and fixing them up.
Graveside services are 1 p.m. Thursday at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina.
There are no calling hours.
Memorials may be given to The Cancer Association of Mercer County.
