The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Robert Holscher
Robert W. Holscher, 85, formerly of Yorkshire, passed away of natural causes the morning of March 4, 2013, at Elmwood Assisted Living of New Bremen.
He was born April 9, 1927, in Yorkshire, to Fred H. and Clara E. Poeppelman Holscher.
He is survived by one brother, Wilfrid (Rita) Holscher of Minster; sisters-in-law, Ruth and Frances Holscher, both of Osgood; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Robert was preceded in death by 11 siblings, Matilda, Edward, Urban, Leo, Joseph, Alfred, Raymond and Rosamary, and Elizabeth, Julius and Albert, who died in infancy.
A veteran of World War II, he served in the U.S. Army Military Police Company 1262ND. He was engaged in farming all of his working life. He had also been part owner and operator of Holscher Brother's Weld Shop and Saw Mill in Osgood.
He was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church and the Osgood American Legion Post #228.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Nicholas Church in Osgood, the Rev. David L. Zink celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Martin's Cemetery, with full military honors by the Osgood American Legion.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-10 a.m. Friday at Gehret Funeral Home in Fort Loramie.
