The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Esther Bohman
Esther E. (Stucke) Bohman, 83, Osgood, went to be with her Lord Thursday afternoon, April 18, 2013, at Briarwood Village, Coldwater.
She was born Aug. 29, 1929, in Cassella, to Norbert and Gertrude (Franzer) Stucke. On Nov. 16, 1950, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Osgood, she married Richard J. Bohman, who died Sept. 1, 2003.
Surviving are five children, Allen and Elaine (Homan) Bohman, Osgood, Deb Bohman and John Grueser, Springfield, Kathy and Ken Bertke, Versailles, Nancy Bohman and Scott Tinsley, Powell, and Mary Steenrod and Scott Boylan, North Canton; seven grandchildren, Heather (Ariel) White, Brian (Liz) Bertke, Eric (Gwen) Bertke, Kelli (Dustin) Kaiser, Chance Bohman Moore, Alex Steenrod and Lauren Steenrod; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Norma Jean and Bill Rutschilling, St. Henry; and a sister-in-law, Imelda Stucke, Osgood.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, Roman Stucke; and one grandson.
She was a homemaker and also worked many years with her husband on their family farm. An avid Red's fan, she also enjoyed playing cards, cooking, crocheting afghans for others, traveling and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She and her husband enjoyed many winters in Florida and numerous trips across the country. She was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church and had been active in the Ladies Sodality.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. David L. Zink officiating. Burial will follow at St. Martin's Cemetery.
Calling is 2-7 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at Gehret Funeral Home, Fort Loramie.
Memorials may be made to the Center for Neurological Development, Burkettsville, or the Osgood Life Squad.
