The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Daniel Hilgeford
Daniel L. Hilgeford, 58, North Bryant, passed away May 30, 2013, at his residence.
He was born March 15, 1955, in Celina, the son of Arnold and Martha Muhlenkamp Hilgeford. On Nov. 7, 1975, he married Linda Huey, who survives.
Also surviving are his parents, Arnold and Martha Hilgeford of Portland, Ind.; a son, Kurtis (Melinda) Hilgeford of Fort Wayne, Ind.; three daughters, Chris (Kim) Regedanz of Celina, Christy (Keith) Kahlig of Portland and Angie (Caleb) Lutes of Portland; a brother, John Hilgeford of Cassella; five sisters, Debra (Steve) Barnett of Portland, Linda (Gregg) Huelskamp of Portland, Betty (Dennis) Strawn of Celina, Donna (Dennis) Chenoweth of Portland and Peggy Starr (companion Steve Pollard) of Anderson; and five grandchildren.
He worked at Teledyne Portland Forge, and was a millwright for Mark Doenges and Sons in New Bremen. He was a 1973 Bryant High School graduate, and member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Mens Sodality and machinist union at Teledyne Forge.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Bryant, Ind., the Rev. David Hoying officiating. Burial will follow in the Holy Trinity Cemetery.
Calling 12–5 p.m. Sunday at the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home, with a scripture service at 1 p.m.
