The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Clara Paulus
Clara C. Paulus, 93, Versailles, passed away at 3 a.m. June 16, 2013, at Versailles Health Care Center in Versailles.
She was born March 21, 1920, in Coldwater, to Joseph and Elenora Schock Sutter. On June 22, 1950, she married Charles Paulus, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughter, Jan (Ralph) Gigandet of Versailles; a son, Jeff Paulus of Columbus; grandchildren, Keri (Charen) Kingrey, Chris (Sandy) Gigandet and Susan (Aaron) Bergman, all of Versailles, and Dana (Jill) Paulus of Columbus; great-grandchildren, Mandi Kingrey and her fiancé Curtis Riegle, Katelyn Kingrey, Lindsey, Kyle and Tyler Gigandet, Ayden Lane and Stella Bergman, of Versailles, and Maynard Paulus of Columbus; a sister, Mary Etta Eyink; and a brother, Zeno "Bud" Sutter.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Mildred Sutter and Len Hartings, and brothers, Ralph and Joe Sutter.
She was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church, sang in the church choir, and was a member of Daughters of Isabella. She worked at the bank in Coldwater for 40 years and then Buckeye Overall. She enjoyed reading books; ballroom dancing; weekly outings with friends; shopping and lunch with friends; bowling, where she was the secretary of the league; playing cards once a week; and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Denis Catholic Church, Versailles, the Rev. David Vincent celebrant. Burial will follow in the St. Valbert Cemetery, Versailles.
Calling is 5-7 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home, Versailles.
Memorial contributions may be given to State of the Heart Hospice or Versailles Emergency Medical Services.
