The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Bobby Smith
Bobby Lee Smith, 83, Celina, died June 25, 2013, at the Cleveland Clinic.
He was born Sept. 15, 1929, the fourth of seven children to Alfred Leroy and Mabel Louise MacDonald Smith. On June 7, 1947, he married Thelma Powell in Wabash, and she survives.
He attended Celina City Schools prior to leaving to enter the workforce at Mersman Brothers, where he worked 46 years. He served in World War II in the ETO and was awarded the Purple Heart with the Oak Leaf Cluster after having been wounded three times. He was an infantryman with the troops led by Gen. George Patten.
Survivors include two daughters, Stacie (Gene) Powell of St. Marys, and Dr. Pamela K. Smith of Hamilton and Ypsilanti, Mich.; eight grandchildren, Cliff (Joslyn) Powell, Aaron (Lyndsey) Powell, Kailie Weber, Ross Weber, Travis Powell, T.J. Powell, Kiersten Boeckman and Randy Powell; two great-grandchildren, Jaylen Powell and Emrie Powell; and a sister, Carol (Jerry) Humbert of Troy.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Kenneth Smith, John Smith and Donald Smith, and two sisters, Betty and Joanne.
He was a longtime member and past governor of Celina Moose Lodge #1473. He also was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion posts of Celina. He was an avid fisherman and woodworker and loved to laugh and learn.
Calling is 3-7 p.m. Tuesday at Cisco Funeral Home, with a memorial service to follow at 7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Moosehaven, Mooseheart, the Alzheimer's Association or any charity of the donor's choice.
