The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

George Campbell
George Raymond Campbell, 85, of Medway, passed away July 23, 2013, at the VA Medical Center in Dayton.
He was born July 2, 1928, in Piqua, to Irwin G. and Edith Mildred Walker Campbell.
He is survived by six children, Joyce (Jim) Faulkner of Ellington, Fla., Larry R. Campbell of Dayton, Jerry (Norma) Campbell of Celina, Karen (Dean) Winks of Piqua, Terry (Donna) Campbell of Louisville, Ky., and Gary Joe Campbell of Medway; 12 grandchildren, Deana (David) Steele, Rob (Heather) Winks of Piqua, Phillip Campbell of Tipp City, Glenn (Kristy) Campbell, Christy (Travis) Lee, and Kimberli Campbell, all of Kentucky, Raymond Mason and Randy (Jan) Mason of Florida, Matthew (Beth) Overman, and Zachary and Emily Overman, all from Celina, and James Jennings of Troy; 19 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Anabell Henrick of Urbana.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Joy A. Campbell, who died in 2010; and three brothers, Billy, Charles "Bob" and Kenny Campbell.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp., a life member of the AMVETS of Medway and a member of the Masonic Lodge #777 Huber Heights. He retired in 1981 from Dayton Press after 28 years of service.
Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Blessing Funeral Home in Tipp City, the Rev. Matthew Overman officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Tipp City.
