The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Juanita Verhoff
Juanita M. Verhoff, 82, Continental, died at 7:06 a.m. Sept. 30, 2013, at the Meadows of Kalida.
She was born April 18, 1931, in Cloverdale, to Leon and Ruth Dotson Fout. On Nov. 11, 1952, she married Norbert Verhoff, who died May 20, 2008.
She is survived by her five sons, Gary "Pup" Verhoff, Ottawa, Kenneth (Sue) Verhoff, Ottawa, Keith (Linda) Verhoff, Mt. Cory, Randy Verhoff, Continental, and Bradley (Mary) Verhoff, New Bremen; 10 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Margene Coon, Elida, and Diana Kay (Elmo) Richmond, Gilboa.
She was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Verhoff, and two grandchildren, Becky and Brandy Verhoff.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Barbara's Catholic Church, Cloverdale.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Barbara's Catholic Church, Cloverdale, Fr. Jerome Schetter officiating. Burial will follow at St. Isidore Cemetery, Cuba.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Continental, where a scripture service will be at 2 p.m.
Memorials may be given to Alzheimer's Association.
