The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Leo Buehler
Leo R. Buehler, 86, of Kettlersville, died at 1:40 a.m. Nov. 1, 2013, at his residence.
He was born June 6, 1927, in McCartyville, to Raymond and Dora (Meyer) Buehler. On Sept. 4, 1954, he married Mary L. Bernard, who died Nov. 27, 2006.
He is survived by his children, Phil (Joan) Buehler, Kettlersville, Jeff (Jill) Buehler, St. Henry: Steve (Alejandra) Buehler, Omaha, Neb., Joanie (Mike) Prueter, Kettlersville, Teresa (Ben) Harshbarger, Botkins, and David Buehler, Brooksville, Fla.; 19 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters Virginia Boerger, Minster, and Joan (Mark) Krabbe, Hamilton; a brother, John Buehler, Dayton; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Buehler, McCartyville; and a brother-in-law, Merlin (Mary) Bernard, Minster.
Deceased is an infant son, Joseph Buehler; two brothers, Roman Buehler and Orville Buehler; and two brothers-in-law, Clarence Boerger and Stan (Adele) Bernard.
He was a retired lifetime farmer and a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, McCartyville. He was national director of the National Farmers Organization, former Kettlersville mayor and councilman and served 36 years on the Van Buren Township Fire Department. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, McCartyville, a Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War and a member of the Anna American Legion. He was the youngest Legion Commander in the nation at that time.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Church, the Rev. John Tonkin presiding. Burial with full military honors will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Church.
Memorial donations may be made to the church.
