The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Edwin Faller
Edwin C. "Buss" Faller, 92, Fort Recovery, died Jan. 26, 2014, at The Gardens at St. Henry.
He was born Oct. 29, 1921, in Coldwater, to Leo and Veronica Hoening Faller. On June 10, 1944, he married Agnes Bricher in Fort Worth, Texas, and she survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Sharon (Jack) Stemen, Butler, Ind., Diane Hatton, Englewood, and Cathy (Ken) Brackman, Coldwater; two sons, Rick (Deb) Faller, Roswell, Ga., and John (Pauline) Faller, Fort Recovery; four sisters, Ethel Jutte, Fort Recovery, Ruthane Cross, Pittsburg, Pa., Virginia Schwieterman, St. Henry, and Kathleen Faller, Fort Recovery; two brothers, Jim (Mary) Faller, Rossburg, and Richard (Betty) Faller, Coldwater; a sister-in-law, Janette Faller, Celina; 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were an infant son, Thomas; a brother, Harold Faller; and three brothers-in-law, Albert Jutte, Robert Cross and Dennis Schwieterman.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving in the European Theatre. He was a member of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery. He was an avid golfer and also enjoyed baseball, hunting, following his children and grandchildren's sporting events and spending time with family and friends.
Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Mary Help of Christians Church, the Rev. Thomas Dorn officiating. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Fort Recovery. Military graveside honors will be conducted by the Fort Recovery American Legion.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9-10 a.m. Thursday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
