The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Julitta Nedderman
Julitta Nedderman, 90, St. Marys, died at 5:15 p.m. Jan. 29, 2014, at Golden Living Center-Valley, St. Marys.
She was born Oct. 13, 1923, near New Bremen, to Leo and Esther Uetrecht Nedderman.
Survivors include a sister-in-law, Loree Nedderman, New Bremen, and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Virgil and David Nedderman.
She was a 1941 graduate of New Bremen High School and spent many years raising and training horses in Ohio and West Virginia. She worked at Crown Equipment Corporation of New Bremen and retired from Huffy Corporation in 1985 after 30 years of service.
Services are 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home, New Bremen, the Rev. Becky Erb Strang officiating. Burial will follow in Willow Grove Cemetery, New Bremen.
Calling is one hour prior to the services Saturday at the funeral home.
