The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Steven Schenck
Steven Gene Schenck, 64, Fort Myers, Fla., passed away March 3, 2014, at HealthPark Hospice House of Fort Myers.
He was born Jan. 20 1950, in Dayton, to Wesley and Phyllis Richards Schenck.
In addition to his parents, he leaves behind to cherish his memory, his beloved wife of 44 years, Janice Merritt Schenck; a brother, Gregg (Elise) Schenck; a sister, Susan (Dale Herzog) Gardner; a sister-in-law, Phyllis Conwell; a brother-in-law, Jerry (Debbie) Merritt; his favorite cousin, Connie (Fred) Fagg; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. He also leaves behind his beloved dog, Lucy.
He retired in 2006 as a logistics analyst with J.P. Morgan Chase Bank after 40-plus years with the company. He enjoyed gardening and going to the movies and was a member of Moose Lodge 1473 of Celina. In addition, he was a 24-year survivor after receiving a donor kidney from his father at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Fort Myers.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorials be made to Hope Hospice House, Fort Myers, or the National Kidney Foundation.
