Raymond Eblen
Raymond K. "Keith" Eblen, 76, Rockford, passed away at 10:09 a.m. March 15, 2014, at Lima Memorial Hospital.
He was born May 24, 1937, in Celina, to W.G. "Ray" and Margaret McGriff Eblen. His father survives in Celina. On Aug. 27, 1954, he married Betty Leeann Hull, who died Oct. 28, 1992.
He is survived by a son, Raymond Keith "Butch" Eblen Jr., Rockford; a daughter, Margaret (Jeff) Neil, Cincinnati; two grandchildren, Jennifer (William) Grier and Kyla Lindsey; great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Everett, Elijah and Alivia; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, George Douglas and Judy Eblen, Celina, and Patricia and Doyle Wheeler, Amarillo, Texas.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Elizabeth Eblen; a brother, Richard Lee Eblen; and a sister, Susan Jane Eblen.
He was a 1955 graduate of Celina High School and was formerly employed at The Daily Standard as production manager. He retired from Celina schools as a bus driver in 1999 and was a member of the Mercer County Sportsmen's Association.
Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina, with the Rev. Chip Steffy officiating. He will be cremated following services and a private family interment will be held Friday at Swamp College Cemetery.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and one hour before services Wednesday at the funeral home.
