The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Leonard Klosterman
Leonard J. Klosterman, 75, Washington Township, passed away suddenly on June 7, 2014, in Jacksonville, Fla., while visiting family. 
He was born July 19, 1938, to Leonard J. and Anna Kramer Klosterman. On Nov. 9, 1963, he married Juanita Beumer at St. Peter Church, St. Peter, and she survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Teresa (Jerry) Hulshult and their children, Bailey and Abby, Jacksonville, Fla.; a son, Dr. David J. (Cindy) Klosterman and their children, Elena and Taran, Springboro; siblings, Roger (Alice) Klosterman, Janet (Dennis) Bonifas and Melvin (Rosemary) Klosterman; and sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Doris Klosterman, Rosalia (Leroy) Larger, Sr. Marita Beumer, C.P.P.S, Irene (Fred) Rose, Ruth (Ralph) Pleiman, Rita (Carl) Pleiman, Jean Beumer and Linda Beumer. 
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Lonnie, in 1989; and siblings, Virgil Klosterman and Lavaun (Frank) Schwartz and Arnold, Alvin, and Richard Beumer.
He was a graduate of Coldwater High School and served four years in the United States Air Force. He retired from the Paxar Corporation after 30 years of service. He enjoyed traveling, volunteering at the Victoria Theater and especially playing with his grandchildren. He will be missed by all of his friends. 
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church in Miamisburg. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Kettering. 
Calling is 2-5 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at Newcomer Funeral Home – South Chapel, Kettering.
