The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Mildred Neumann
Mildred Neumann, 104, of Dayton, died Aug. 27, 2014.
She was born Oct. 23, 1909, in Lima, and grew up in Coldwater before moving to Dayton. LaMar Neumann, her husband of 56 years, is deceased.
Surviving are a daughter, Joan (Richard) Finan, Cincinnati; a son, John (Merline) Neumann, Dayton; four grandchildren, Patrick (Beth) Finan, Nancy (Robert) Hagner, Julie (Kevin) Gorsuch and Michael (Susie) Finan; great-grandchildren, Sean and Ryan Finan, Susan, Eric and Amy Hagner, Angela (Doug) Copper, Katie, Craig and Darcie Gorsuch, and Renee, Alaina, Kellen and Rily Finan; and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased are two brothers, Oliver (Rosella) Gast and Harold Gast, and a sister, Dorothy (Ralph) Harlamert.
She managed the St. Anthony's Grade School cafeteria in Dayton for 31 years. She was an avid listener of Dayton Flyers basketball and the Cincinnati Reds. She enjoyed worldwide travel as well as many winters in Florida.
Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Henry's Catholic Church, Miamisburg, with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Dayton.
Calling is 9:30-11 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
