The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Jeanne Luken
Jeanne Luken, 86, Celina, died Sept. 20, 2014, at her home.
She was born Sept. 5, 1928, in Celina, to Charles E. and Mary Maude Craig Gray. On Oct. 8, 1949, she married Thomas G. Luken, who died Feb. 6, 1992.
Surviving are three children, Gary Luken, Bowling Green, Mike (Marty) Luken, Coldwater, and Kelly (Doug) Sperr, Charlotte, N.C.; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Mildred Arn, Charlotte, N.C.; and brothers- and sisters-in-law, Marge Neu, Cuyahoga Falls, Janet (Ed) Dillhoff, Arlington, Texas, and Martha Buschur, Coldwater.
Deceased are siblings, Opal (George) Smith and Dorothy (Bill) Richardson; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Dick Neu, Robert Buschur, Wilma (Roland) Meckstroth and Melvin (Audrey) Buschur.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, and graduated from Celina High School. She was a Mercer County Community Hospital volunteer, a press operator at Reynolds & Reynolds, Celina, and a member of the Reynolds Key Club.
Private family services will be held.
Calling is 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
