The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Jeffrey Keaser
Jeffrey T. "Jeff" Keaser, 50, Greenville, passed away Oct. 31, 2014, at the Kindred Hospital, Dayton.
He was born July 4, 1964, in Greenville, to Charles E. and Marie C. Kaiser Keaser, who survive in Greenville. On Feb. 8, 2002, he married Ellie Smith, who also survives.
Other survivors are three stepchildren, Shawn Zerkle, Elizabeth Zerkle and Molly (Joe) Hool; a stepgranddaughter, Ashling Hool; brothers and sisters, Terry (Marge) Keaser, Susan (Mike) Treadway, Darlene (Greg) Grubb, and Allen (Nancy) Keaser; father- and mother-in-law, Sam and Ella Smith; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Tina Harbison, Sam Smith Jr., Emily Smith and Kelly Smith; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was a motor carrier officer for the Ohio State Highway Patrol. He served on the Greenville Township Fire Department and formerly served with the Greenville Township Rescue. He was a founding trustee of the Dalmatian Duo Fire Prevention Team. He was a member of the Greenville Grace Brethren Church, the Eagles and a former member of the Moose.
Services with full firefighter honors are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Greenville Grace Brethren Church, Greenville, Pastor Danny Wright officiating. Burial will follow at Greenville Township Memorial Gardens.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Friday and 9-10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church.
