The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Aldyth Meyer
Aldyth Louise "Barb" Meyer, 89, Delaware and formerly of Mendon and Celina, passed quietly Dec. 1, 2014, following a brief illness.
She was born Aug. 4, 1925, to Robert Harrison and Bertha Banter Barber above the family's general store in Mendon. In 1950, she married John Meyer, who is deceased.
Surviving are two daughters, Judy Meyer Clancy, Scottsdale, Ariz., and Cindy Meyer (Rick) Schlichting, New Providence, N.J.; six grandchildren, Cori Clancy (Brendon) Graber, Lawton, Mich., Joanna Clancy, Scottsdale, Ariz., Dr. Beth Schlichting (Kevin) Bockhold, Downers Grove, Ill., Kate Schlichting (Nate) Johns, Lisle, Ill., Meg Schlichting (Mike) Mack, Austin, Texas, and Kyle Meyer, Delaware; and three great-grandchildren, Natalie, Andren and Charlotte.
Also deceased are four siblings and her son, Jeff.
She graduated from Celina High School and received her registered nurse training at The Christ Hospital School of Nursing in Cincinnati. She continued her nursing career there until she got married in 1950, when she moved to Delaware.
Her nursing career spanned over 50 years in Delaware. She worked at Jane M. Case/Grady Memorial Hospital as a surgical, obstetric and emergency room nurse, as well as a nursing supervisor. She also worked in local medical and dental practices and at the Ohio Wesleyan University Infirmary and Student Health Center.
Following her retirements, she maintained her license and continued to volunteer at local health care events including the Delaware County Fair, local school athletic physicals and at Willow Brook.
Services are 3 p.m. Sunday at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Delaware, the Rev. Jennell Rue officiating.
No calling hours are scheduled.
