The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Harold Oda
Harold D. Oda, 78, Greenville, passed away at 7:22 a.m. Dec. 14, 2014, at Cypress Pointe Care Center, Englewood.
He was born July 12, 1936, in Darke County, to Joseph C. and Dessie M. Gentner Oda.
Surviving are two children, Joseph Oda, Covington, and Danielle M. Oda, Piqua; four grandchildren, Kyle Oda, Dillon Oda, Presley Oda and Jacob Sowry; and two sisters, Mary Rue, Coldwater, and Dorothy Long, Tampa, Fla.
Deceased is a brother, Richard Oda.
He served in the National Guard and worked at Fort Recovery Industries in the maintenance department.
He was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church where he served on church council for 12 years. He also was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Greenville, and the Greenville Eagles.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Greenville, the Rev. Peter Menke officiating. Burial will follow at Greenville Township Memorial Gardens.
Calling is 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville.
Memorials may be given to the Parkinson's Foundation or Hospice of Dayton.
