The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Terry Jeffries
Terry L. Jeffries, 64, Celina, died at 10:10 p.m. Jan. 8, 2015, at his home.
He was born June 9, 1950 in Celina to Donald and Rose Ann (Whitey) Bollenbacher Jeffries.
On May 17. 2013 he married Carol Curry, who survives.
He is also survived by two sons, Terry Lee Jeffries, Lima, and Michael (Jennifer) Jeffries, Montezuma; a stepson Danny (Ashley) Saunders, Celina; two daughters, Kari (Dennis) Stolzenburg, Coldwater, and Amanda (Chris) Zibrida, Coldwater; two stepdaughters, Tonya (Brent) Vogel, Rockford, and Stephanie (Chris) Slone, St. Marys; and two sisters, Roxanne (Gary) Norberg, Mentor, and Kathleen (Bob) McGowan, Celina.
He graduated from Celina High School in 1968 and was a U.S. Army veteran. He retired from Vance St. Marys plant. He was a member of the John Birch Society, Friends of the NRA, Coonskin Cap Brigade, NRA Golden Eagles, Southside Sportsman Club, Mercer County Sportsman Club, Buckeye Firearms Association, Gun Owners of America and Oath Keepers of Republic.
He also supported the Second Amendment. He was a volunteer with the Montezuma and Celina fire departments and was a first responder and paramedic with the Coldwater Rescue Squad.
Services are 10:30 Tuesday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina. Burial will be at Mercer Memory Gardens with military rites at the cemetery.
Calling is 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
