The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

William Cook
William Clark Cook, 82, Sidney, passed away at 5:25 p.m. Jan. 14, 2015, at his residence.
He was born Aug. 5, 1932, in Rockford, to Grant and Lena Snyder Cook. On July 11, 1953, he married Mary Alice Maury, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Jill (Artie) Presser, Sidney, and Maurya (Kevin) Ryan, Sidney; a son-in-law, William Hudson Jr., Arlington, Texas; eight grandchildren, Brad (Tasha) Hudson, Will Hudson, Matthew (Melissa) Presser, Garrett (Erica) Presser, Randall (Ashley) Ryan, Cody Ryan and Chelsea (Kevin) Cox; six great-grandchildren, Tre' Williams, Jaz Reed, Sidney Hudson, Makayla Hudson, Blake Presser, Ethan Presser, Ensley Presser and Layla Ryan; three brothers, Don (Sharon) Cook, Columbus, Ben (Cathy) Cook, Napoleon, Robert (Cinda) Cook, Celina; four sisters, Kathryn Crider, Bowling Green, Sally (John) Wannemacher, Troy, Becky (Dan) Dumbauld, Zionsville, Ind., and Elizabeth Frushour, Bowling Green; and two sisters-in-laws, Jean Cook, Dothan, Ala., and Marylee (Al) Cook, Sidney.
Also deceased are a daughter, Jo Ellen Hudson; a grandson, Brant Hudson; three brothers, Grant Cook, Carl Cook and Mike Cook; two brothers-in-law, Jack Conley and Robert Crider; and a sister-in-law, Dorothy Cook.
He retired in 2002 after working as a milk and ice cream distributor for many years. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran serving during the Korean War. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Sidney.
Services are noon Jan. 31, 2015, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Sidney, the Rev. Jonathan W. Schriber officiating.
Calling is 11 a.m.-noon Jan. 31 at the church.
Arrangements are being handled by Cromes Funeral Home and Crematory, Sidney.
Memorials may be given to St. John's Lutheran Church or Wilson Hospice.
