The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Twyla Dudley
Twyla Pifer Dudley, 89, Columbus, Ga., died on Feb. 15, 2015, at her residence.
She was born Aug. 23, 1925, in Chattanooga, to the late LeRoy Chauncey and Bertha Caroline Leininger Pifer. She was married to Dr. Augustus B. Dudley Jr., who survives in Columbus.
Also surviving are a daughter, Elizabeth Dudley Graham and her husband, Mark, Columbus; a son, James Lawrence Dudley and his wife, Carmen, Columbus; two sisters, Marjorie Maxine Pifer, St. Marys, and Verna Behm, Celina; four grandchildren, James Graham, Dudley Graham, Augusta Graham and Michael Dudley, all of Columbus; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Deceased are four sisters, Donna Pifer, Ruby Pifer, Beatrice Pifer and Glenda Pifer; a brother, Gerald Pifer; and a brother-in-law, Eugene Behm.
She was a graduate of Willshire High School, Willshire, and later graduated from The Ohio State University where she received a bachelor's degree in journalism. She worked as a journalist for the Van Wert Times-Bulletin, the Farm Journal magazine in Philadelphia, Pa., and the Hi Way Presbyterian teen magazine, also of Philadelphia.
After marrying and moving to Columbus, Ga., she volunteered with several organizations within the area including Trinity Episcopal Church, The Columbus Symphony Orchestra, Brookstone School and the Muscogee County Medical Auxiliary. She was an active member of Trinity Episcopal Church and the Junto Study Club.
Funeral services were Thursday at Trinity Episcopal Church, Columbus, Ga., the Rev. Tim Graham officiated. Interment followed at Parkhill Cemetery, Columbus, Ga.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Trinity Episcopal Church, 1130 1st Avenue, Columbus, GA 31901 or a charity of the donor's choice.
