The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

John Arkenberg
John Raymond Arkenberg, 54, Fort Loramie, passed away of natural causes in the early morning of Feb. 22, 2015, at his parents' winter residence in Okeechobee, Fla.
He was born Nov. 25, 1960, in Sidney, to Bernard and Theresa (Richard) Arkenberg, who survive.
Also surviving are four siblings, Linda and Jim Koverman, Anna, Ed and Annette Arkenberg, Sidney, Jody and Ed Hartley, Covington, and David Arkenberg, Fort Loramie; a sister-in-law, Pat Coll, Toledo; numerous nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews and aunts and uncles, Bea Seaman, Dayton, Marrietta Ritz, Buffalo, N.Y., Florence and Bob Bruns, St. Henry, Eugene and Dorothy Richard, Versailles, and Ruth Richard, Anna.
Deceased is a brother, Eugene Arkenberg.
John was a 1979 graduate of Fort Loramie High School. He had been employed at The Dannon Company, Minster, since 1981. He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Minster Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge 1391 and Arrowhead Golf Club. An avid golfer, John also enjoyed Wednesday night league bowling, hunting and fishing.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Michael Catholic Church, Fort Loramie, the Rev. Steven Shoup presiding. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3-8 p.m. Monday and 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at Gehret Funeral Home, Fort Loramie.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
