The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Ralph Ording
Ralph U. Ording, 87, St. Henry, died on March 2, 2015, at his home.
He was born March 2, 1928, in St. Henry, to the late Henry and Mary (Leugers) Ording. On Jan. 17, 1953, he married Mary Agnes (Post) in Trinity, Ind., and she survives in St. Henry.
Also surviving are five children, Mark and Leigh Ording, Alexandria, Va., Cindy and Randy Brunswick, St. Henry, Bill and Karen Ording, Troy, Mich., Mary and James Pope, Holland, and Tom and Kathy Ording, Versailles; 14 grandchildren, Kelly, Michael, Keith, David, Matthew, Eric, Jonathan, Dan, Steve, Jessica, Jordan, Taylor, Kami and Elizabeth; eight great-grandchildren; and brothers-in-law, Vic and Shelbie Post, Stewart, Fla., and Joseph and Susie Naumcheff, Greenwood, Ind.
Deceased are brothers and sisters, Urban and Cecilia Ording, Arthur and Bea Ording, Edward and Clara Ording, Helen and John Dabbelt, Bernadine and Joseph Rentz and Alma and Don Emrick, and in-laws, Rita and Elmer Moritz, Leona and Clarence Hartnagel, Lelia and Fred Minnich, Catherine and Harry Mitchell, Peggy Naumcheff, Rose and David Costello and Eileen Post.
He was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church, St. Henry and a 50-year member of the Knights of Columbus Council 2640. He also had served on the Mercer County Library Board for 21 years.
He was a 1946 graduate of St. Henry High School and retired in 1984 from the former Avco New Idea, Coldwater, after 32 years. Ralph was very active in the St. Henry community throughout his entire life.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Henry Catholic Church, St. Henry. Burial will follow at St. Henry Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Friday and 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, St. Henry.
Memorials may be directed to State of the Heart Hospice or the Center for Neurological Development, Burkettsville.
