The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Bruce Glass
Bruce A. Glass, 58, St. Marys, passed away at 6:30 a.m. March 9, 2015, at his residence surrounded by his loved ones.
He was born Jan. 16, 1957, in St. Marys, to Robert and Beatrice (Schallenberg) Glass. His father is deceased and his mother survives in St. Marys. On July 23, 1977, he married Penny Chilcoat, who survives at the residence.
Also surviving are two daughters, Jennifer (Kirk) Glass, Dayton, and Christie (Jeremy) Freewalt, St. Marys; three brothers, Brad (Joan) Glass, St. Marys, Barry Glass of Montana, and Bart Glass, St. Marys; two sisters-in-law, Stacey Koeper, St. Marys, and Peggy (Curt) Snyder, St. Marys; a brother-in-law, Jerry (Jodi) Chilcoat; best friends, Bill (Barb) McEvoy, Martinsville; five grandchildren, Ethan, Emma and Eyan Freewalt, Layla Glass Huffmon and Courtney Koeper; and many nieces and nephews.
Also deceased are two brothers, Terry and Jerry Glass.
Bruce was a 1975 graduate of Memorial High School, St. Marys. He worked for 27 years at the St. Marys Foundry in the maintenance department. His favorite hobbies included fishing, hunting, watching Nascar and sprint car racing. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a member of Wayne Street United Methodist Church, St. Marys.
Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Cisco Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Jon Kraner officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
A gathering of family and friends is 3–7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Wayne Street United Methodist Church, St. Marys, and/or Grand Lake Hospice.
