The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Margaret Homan
Margaret Homan, age 76, of Coldwater, died on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Briarwood Village, Coldwater.
She was born September 10, 1938 in Maria Stein, to the late Leonard & Eleanor (Wendel) Goecke. On August 9, 1958, in Maria Stein, she married Jerome 'Jerry' Homan, who died January 27, 2010.
She is survived by nine children, Marilyn & Roger Fortkamp of Ft. Recovery, Dan & Jeanne Homan of Greenville, Anita & Tom Muhlenkamp of Celina, Lori Langenkamp of Versailles, Joyce & Mike Hein of Ft. Recovery, Jean & Larry Jutte of Coldwater, Marie Beresik of Ft. Loramie, Greg & Lori Homan of Coldwater and Tony & Christy Homan of Coldwater, 33 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Fred Homan, a daughter, Helen Homan, a sister, Ruth Ann & Melvin Lennartz and in-laws, Wilfred & Veronica Homan.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater and its Ladies Sodality, was a Red Cross board member and blood mobile coordinator, was active in the Mercer County Farm Bureau, volunteered for State of the Heart Hospice and was a former Happy Hearts 4-H club advisor. She was a former cook at the Coldwater Eagles and cooked meals for shut-ins and funerals at Holy Trinity Church.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Holy Trinity Church, Coldwater. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
