The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Othmar Moeller
Moeller, Othmar F. "Ott", 88, of Vandalia, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2015.
Ott was born on January 19, 1927 in St. Sebastian, OH to the late Ida (Goecke) and Gerhard Moeller.
Ott is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Virginia (Hein) Moeller; his 3 children, daughter Connie & Leo Schaaf, son Randall Moeller, & daughter Vicki & Bill Keaton; 7 grandchildren, Nicholas Schaaf, Sherry Schaaf, Julie (Schaaf) Ford, Melissa Moeller, Allison (Moeller) Wright, Phillip & Christopher Keaton; 4 great-grandchildren, Cameron, Bailey, Trey & Myles; siblings, brother Earl & Evelyn Moeller, brother David & Marjorie Moeller; in-laws, Red & Bert Everman, Jim & Lucy Geise, Ron & Marcia Hein, & J.R. Hein. Preceded in death by siblings, brother, Paul & Rosemary Moeller, sister Ruth & Stan Kremer, & brother Joseph Moeller; brother-in-law Phillip Hollingsworth and sister-in-law, Pat Hein.
Ott was a graduate of Marion Local High School and began as a carpenter prior to his career in Advertising with the Dayton Daily News.  During his many years with the Dayton Daily News, Ott became a member of the Dayton Food Trades and President of the Dayton Daily News Credit Union. After 28 years of dedicated hard work and service with the Dayton Daily News, Ott welcomed retirement and loved his many winters spent in sunny Sarasota, FL with his devoted wife, Virginia (Hein) Moeller. In his spare time, Ott took pleasure in playing golf, gardening, carpentry, and was an avid reader.  Ott was a very charismatic man who was thankful each day to live a blessed life.
The family will greet friends from 2 -5p.m. on Sunday, April 12, 2015 at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home (139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia, OH 45377).  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 13, 2015 at St. Christopher Parish, 435 E. National Rd. Vandalia, OH 45377. Interment to follow at Poplar Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the American Heart Association, St. Christopher Parish, or a charity of your choice in Ott's memory.
