The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Shirley Cornwell
Shirley Ann Cornwell, 76, went to be with the Lord at 3:30 PM April 12, 2015. She was surrounded by her loving family, at her home, in St. Marys.
She was born on February 13, 1939, in New Bremen, OH, to Robert M. and Rose L. (McDermit) Temple, both proceeded her in death. On May 25, 1968 she married Robert Lee Cornwell; he preceded her in death on October 13, 1986.
Survivors include two sons, Darrell (Theresa) Bayman, St. Marys and Chester L. Cornwell II, St. Marys; two daughters, Tina (Joe) Stelzer, St. Marys and Theresa (Charles Rodeheffer) Cornwell, New Knoxville; four brothers, Jack (Linda) Temple, Wapakoneta, Jerry (Connie) Temple, Celina, Gary Temple, St. Marys and Terry (Donna) Temple, Montezuma; 5 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 8 step great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
She is also preceded in death by three brothers, Lincoln "Gene," Robert and Richard Temple; and a sister Sharon Temple.
Shirley was a 1957 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School; she also went on to receive her associates degree from Wright State University. She retired from Huffy's in Celina after 33 years of service. She was a life member of the St. Marys VFW Post 9289.
Visitation hours will be from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 in the Cisco Funeral Home of St. Marys, located at 1175 E. Greenville Rd.
Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 am on Thursday in the Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Stuck, officiating; where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
