The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Virginia Weyandt
Virginia F. Weyandt, age 92 of Celina, Ohio passed away at 11:15 a.m. on Monday April 27, 2015 at home with her family by her side.
She was born on Nov. 2, 1922 in Frenchtown, Ohio to the late Leo & Ethel (Simon) McEldowney. On November 3, 1945 she married Robert J. Weyandt, who died on September 28, 1989.
She is survived by her children: son Ron & Jo Anne Weyandt of Mendon, two daughters Marilyn Watercutter, Lois & Mark Snyder, both of Celina, three brothers Cletus & Patricia McEldowney of Arcanum, John & Joyce McEldowney of Versailles, Jerome McEldowney of St. Marys, two sisters Thelma Shade of Greenville, Jeanette Monnin of Russia, sister-in-law Elizabeth Borger, 7 grandchildren: Kim Winans, Kelly Powell, Brad Weyandt, Jaysen Weyandt, Arron Watercutter, Jenny Hoyng, James Weyandt, 11 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren and many loving nieces & nephews.
Virginia was preceded in death by her loving daughter Karren Weyandt, loving son-in-law Richard Watercutter, three sisters Winnie Davidson, Bertha Young, Kate McClurg, three sisters-in-law; Barbara McEldowney, Doris Denney, Evelyn Jane Robertson, seven brothers-in-law Robert Davidson, Nolan Young, Richard McClurg, Francis Shade, Denis Monnin, Nick Denney, Floyd Robertson and a nephew Scott McEldowney.
Virginia worked at the Hartzell Company in Piqua, Huffy in Celina and was a seamstress for many years making wedding dresses for family and friends. She attended the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina, Ohio.
She was a member of the Celina American Legion Auxiliary Post #210. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed word search puzzles.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday May 1, 2015 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina, with Fr. Kenneth G. Alt C.PP.S. officiating. Burial will follow in Mercer Memory Gardens.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. on Thursday and before 10:30 a.m. on Friday at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina.
