The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Donald Grillot
Donald A. "Flowers" Grillot, age 66, of Heims Street, Yorkshire, Ohio, passed away peacefully of natural causes at his residence, Friday evening, May 15, 2015.
He was born June 15, 1948, in Osgood, OH, to the late Vitalis and Verena (Bergman) Grillot. On February 3, 1973, at Coletown C.C. Church near Greenville, Don married Vicky (Bryson) Grillot who survives.
Also surviving are three children: Christina & Kevin Huelsmeyer of Paulding, Aaron Grillot of Yorkshire, and Amanda Marie & Matt Swallow of Versailles; ten grandchildren; nine siblings: Elaine & Mark Knapke of Kalida, Vivian & Tom Jutte of Belle Center, Mike Grillot of Fort Loramie, Yvonne Hartwig of New Bremen, Anthony & Theresa Grillot of Osgood, Maureen & Alva Martin of Jackson Center, Anita & Tim Lewis of Portland, IN, Audre & Dennis Pond of Osgood, and Eunice & Robert Puthoff of Osgood; sisters & brothers-in-law: Jacquelyn Grillot of Versailles, Janet & Larry Micham of Houston, TX, Debbie & Dennis Newman of Ansonia, Edie Hunt of Greenville, Connie Greene of Piqua, Eugene Bryson of Greenville, Neil & Dian Bryson of Greenville, and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by two siblings, Judith and Nicholas Grillot, and two brothers-in-law, Douglas Hartwig and Larry Bryson.
Mr. Grillot was a 1966 graduate of Marion Local High School and a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church. He was a heavy equipment operator for Conrail most of his working life. Years ago, he had been employed at the Minster Machine Company. Flowers was all about fishing and hunting. He also loved of his grandchildren and "adopted" grandchildren.
In keeping with his wishes, there will be a private gathering of remembrance held at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.
